JOB DESCRIPTION

LBE, Inc. is looking for an architectural associate with 3 – 6 years of experience in an architecture firm. Candidate must have experience with architectural design, detailing, and other relevant documentation. Design work will include new construction and renovation projects across federal, commercial, and industrial business sectors. This is an in-person position for our Moncks Corner, SC location.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree from a NAAB accredited program
  • Pursuing licensure
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks accurately, effectively, and confidently
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of:
  • Design solution development
  • Building systems, detailing, and technology
  • Applicable codes, life safety requirements, regulations, and standards
  • Differing building types and project delivery methods
  • Programming and planning methods
  • This position requires the candidate to be eligible for a U.S. Security clearance.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working on federal projects with knowledge of the UFC and the UFGS
  • LEED Credentials
  • Experience in SpecsIntact
  • AXP documentation, if eligible
