JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and drafting, with proficiency in various CAD software. This role is essential for creating accurate and detailed drawings that support our engineering and design projects across multiple disciplines.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in CAD software including Civil 3D, Revit, NavisWorks, MicroStation, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques with experience in creating schematics.
• Ability to produce high-quality 2D animation for presentations when necessary.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and translate them into schematics and technical drawings.
• Utilize software such as Civil 3D, Revit, NavisWorks, MicroStation, and others to create comprehensive designs.
• Assist in mechanical design projects by drafting components and assemblies that meet functional requirements.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation for easy access by team members.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions related to drafting tasks.
