Description

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Architectural Coordinator to oversee and coordinate architectural works at the construction site. The candidate will serve as the liaison between the design team and site team, ensuring that architectural details are implemented accurately and in accordance with design intent, local regulations, and project specifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors on projects and work to alleviate conflicts, dispute and abortive work
  • Coordinate with M&E and structural site teams to resolve clashes and ensure integration of all building services.
  • Review architectural drawings and ensure proper execution on-site. Attend site meetings and conduct inspections to ensure work quality and compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance to site teams regarding architectural detailing and material specifications.
  • Assist in handling architectural change requests or site instructions.
  • Prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure smooth transition of works
  • Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are met.
  • Monitor progress of architectural works and prepare reports on work status. Report progress, delays, or issues to the Project Manager and propose solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree / Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent
  • Minimum 4-5years experience, preferably with CONQUAS/QM experience in projects with contract value minimum of $100 million
  • Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities (ie.BCA, SCDF, LTA)
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies
  • Problem-solving ability to resolve on-site technical issues.
  • Good team player, able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willing to work onsite full-time.
  • Experience in major A/A works, underpinning works and conservation project will be an advantage.
