As a key member of our team, you will support our architectural activities across various project phases. Contribute to design, technical documentation, and client interactions to ensure quality and compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field.
· Enrolled in IDP, on track for California architecture registration preferred.
· 3-5 years of relevant work experience (3 years minimum).
· Willingness to relocate at own expense for in-person work.
SKILLS:
· Knowledge of codes, standards, and the architecture industry.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Word.
· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and adapt to change.

· Under the guidance of the Project Manager, prepares designs for various project phases including schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and approvals.
· Identifies and addresses design and construction challenges, providing solutions or integrating them as necessary.
· Generates technical specifications as needed and aids in creating master plans for new construction projects. Engages with clients to determine their needs, develops space requirements, square footage, and preliminary floor plans.
· Supports the Project Manager in managing construction contracts and participates in design and constructability reviews. Provides feedback on architectural aspects such as costs, design, and construction technology.
· Conducts on-site visits to evaluate building and site conditions, and prepares technical reports based on these investigations. Ensures that all documents comply with relevant codes and standards by interpreting applicable regulations and applying them as needed.
· Manages document revisions to drawings and specifications.
· Contributes to value engineering analysis and reviews. Oversees the work of junior staff involved in preparing drawings and specifications as directed by the Project Manager.
· Engages in business development and marketing activities, including assisting with proposal and presentation preparation for new projects.
· Helps in developing and implementing design and document standards for the department.
· Follows workplace health and safety policies in daily tasks and undertakes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
