Job Description
We are seeking an energetic graduate looking to advance their professional design career in a variety of sectors including transit, social infrastructure, and public safety architecture. Design, technical and digital proficiency are the hallmarks of our preferred candidate.
This is a full-time position starting in May 2024 located at the Markham, ON office.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Architectural Technology
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • An understanding of building systems and construction detailing
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong presentation skills. Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Sketchup, Adobe CS, Microsoft Office, Outlook
  • Proficiency in other 3D and modeling/simulation programs an asset
  • Proficiency in MicroStation an asset
  • High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning
  • Must be dedicated to working hard with an all-hands-on-deck attitude towards completing the work efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved scheduled and budgets.
  • Perform basic architectural activities including preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required, and completing associated calculations.
  • Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
  • Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups
  • Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
  • Assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
