Cuningham is seeking both an Architectural Designer II (non-licensed) and a licensed Architect to join our growing team. These positions are ideal for design professionals who bring creativity, collaboration, and a growth mindset to their work. Team members will contribute across all phases of design and documentation, working alongside colleagues and clients to deliver thoughtful, high-quality architectural solutions. Responsibilities


    • Engage in developing design solutions, coordination, and production efforts on a wide range of projects through all phases of the design, in an iterative and collaborative design process through simple sketching, 2D and 3D modeling, as well as computational methods in alignment with project success metrics.

    • Apply regenerative approaches to design and performance of the built, social, and natural environments.
    • Plan, develop, and participate in design presentations.
    • Develop and document projects through both creative design and technical detailing.
    • Collaborate with related disciplines (consultants and contractors) for best design outcomes.
    • Coordinate BIM models and documentation internally and with consultants, contractors, etc.
    • Participate in construction administration activities with Project Architect and on-site staff.
    • Assist project management and design teams with on-site observations and verifications.
    • Be accountable for quality work in assigned focus area of the project.
    • Adopt and proficiently use: MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Revit/BIM 360.
    • Build awareness and engage with: Rhino, Enscape, Lumion.
    • Participate in code review.
    • Research and become proficient with wall assemblies, waterproofing and vertical circulation. Research exterior materials and products.
    • Support and perform exterior massing studies.
    • Support and perform interior space planning and programming with ID.Coordinate with Specifications team.
