IDEAL CANDIDATE & JOB DESCRIPTION

We are experiencing a high-volume increase in projects from a variety of different areas. We are looking for a creative, dependable, and experienced professional in the Los Angeles area to join our team. We value individuals who bring the highest standards of professionalism and personal integrity in the way they work. In return, we provide a wide variety of project experience to further your professional development and exposure to small and medium-scale type projects. The perspective candidate should have at minimum the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years of AutoCAD experience (Preferred: 10+ years)
  • previous architectural design drafting experience (Preferred: 10+ years)
  • previous structural design drafting experience (Preferred: 2+ years)
  • SB326/721 balcony inspection experience
  • US work authorization (Required)
  • Design and construction sales experience with client relations and interaction (commission for sales)
  • Highly proficient understanding construction document layout and detailing plans, elevations, and sections, with little to no supervision.
  • Highly proficient in general office software including Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Google Drive, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, be punctual and detail oriented. Position requires continuous communication with principle engineer and other associate engineers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines with little to no supervision.
  • Self-motivated, self-managing, great work ethics and problem solving skills
  • Remote/work from home on select days. Must be available for site visits in the greater Los Angeles area.
  • Must have California Drivers license w/ insurance
  • Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)

This position will report to the principal engineer. Responsibilities increase with proven competency and ability to perform tasks. Applicants who are not U.S. citizens must have proper paperwork to work in the United States. Include details regarding visa type and duration.
