Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in retail, commercial, and mixed-use projects
  • Ability to develop initial design concepts, produce presentation drawings and communicate design ideas clearly and effectively via software or hand-sketching
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D modeling (Sketchup), Adobe Suite
  • Ability to develop site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
  • Ability to excel in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Collaborative and team-oriented
  • Interface with clients, make presentations, collaborate with other disciplines.
  • Ability to manage multiple project priorities effectively within schedules and budgets.
  • Knowledge in material selections & finishes, construction methods, building systems
  • Incorporate applicable codes, safety standards and governmental regulations into design work
  • Supports project phases from initial design concepts through project completion.
  • Coordinates between internal team, client, consultants, and regulatory agencies during the entitlement process.
