ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a creative and driven Architectural Designer for our Westminster, CO office. This position affords the opportunity to be part of a growing team working on all phases of a diverse array of multi-disciplinary project types and an excellent opportunity for career growth. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail oriented, and exhibits a commitment to design excellence as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all project phases including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration
  • Integrated Revit modeling and related project document development including renderings, plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and specifications
  • Develop high-quality, accurate project documents
  • Attend meetings with clients, consultantscontractors, and make regular project visits
  • Provide research and create graphics to support business development and marketing activites
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project team across multiple offices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • 2-5 years of professional experience and on ARE licensure track
  • High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe CSMS-office
  • Experience in architectural design, detailing, building systems codes and construction techniques
  • Thorough understanding of architectural practice and project delivery
  • Experience with coordination of clients and multi-disciplinary consultants
  • Strong creative, problem-solving and technical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as well as within a virtual setting.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required.
