JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Intern/ Draftsman to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for residential, commercial, and religious projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of architectural design, drafting standards, and building codes, ensuring accuracy and precision in all drawings and plans.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or diploma in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as an Architectural Draftsman or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other design tools.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, drafting standards, and construction practices.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (Enscape, Photoshop, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.)

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and blueprints based on project specifications, design concepts, and site surveys.
• Work closely with architects and other design professionals to incorporate changes and revisions into designs.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and other architectural elements in Revit, or other industry-standard software.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and presentation drawings
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into designs.
• Review and revise drawings to ensure they meet quality standards and client requirements.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
