JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Draftsman to create detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software and be able to interpret architectural and engineering designs into precise construction documents.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, construction methods, and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in infrastructure projects is a plus.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in [residential/commercial/infrastructure] projects.
• Familiarity with GIS, BIM, or other advanced drafting tools is an advantage.

Experience:

• Autocad: 5 years (Required)
• Revit: 3 years (Required)
• Civil Draftsman: 5 years (Required)

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings, blueprints, and schematics based on engineer and architect specifications.
• Modify and update existing drawings as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy in designs.
• Conduct site visits to gather measurements and verify project requirements.
• Ensure that designs comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain and organize technical documentation, drawings, and project records.
• Assist in estimating material requirements and costs based on drawings.
• Work on topographic surveys, layouts, and civil infrastructure drawings.
• Review and correct errors in technical drawings before submission.
