Your Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Director / Associate / Architect to execute the overall design and management strategy within the project team
  • Assist the Project Director / Associate / Architect in all coordination works, provide leadership, and co-ordinate the input and output of all involved parties to meet established objectives
  • Review designs and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Maintain overall project timelines by closely monitoring the team’s output and making regular assessments of progress in meeting declared objectives
  • Assist with business development for prospective clients
  • Participate in initiatives to improve the practice and incorporate environmental sustainability best practices
  • For Architects, perform the responsibilities of a Qualified Person in accordance with Singapore’s Building Control Act
  • Conduct pre-design work and feasibility studies, site and zoning analyses
  • Define designs to clients’ briefs, budgets, timelines, and in compliance with the authorities’ requirements
  • Develop designs, taking into consideration technical aspects, relevant codes and standards, and good practices, providing inputs for technical resolution
  • Assist the Project Director / Associate / Architect on conceptual and detailed design development
  • Develop the overall project schedule
  • Project documentation and tender preparation
  • Preparing drafts of material specifications and schedule of finishes
  • Manage the project during construction stage, including resolution of site and design matters, and management of project handovers
  • Project administration and organisation of records
  • Assist in administering any form of building contract
  • Checking of shopdrawings
  • Manage and liaise with technical officers and architectural coordinators in the coordination, organisation, and preparation of construction documents and drawings
  • Work with consultants from various disciplines on design and technical matters
  • Perform other project-related duties as required

Pre-requisites and Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, BArch or MArch, Graduate Diploma from recognised and accredited institutions
  • Well-versed in design, CAD, and 3D modelling software and technologies such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, BIM software (Revit), Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrates comprehensive understanding and application of planning and building codes and regulations
  • Organised, meticulous, and analytical
  • Creative with good aesthetic judgement
  • Possesses sound industry knowledge
  • Organised and enjoys problem-solving
  • Takes a holistic approach to design and works with relevant specialists as needed
  • Takes initiative, works methodically and autonomously, and has good time management skills to meet challenging deadlines and client briefs
  • Has good verbal and written communication skills
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this role. Those with work experience and are qualified QPs will be brought in as Architects.
