Metropolitan Companies is seeking a full-time Architectural Staff Level I to join our growing team! This Architectural Staff Level I position presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth and career longevity. This position will report to the Residential Architect Manager. REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years experience in Residential Architecture.
  • 4+ years experience working at an architecture or design firm.
  • Experience in multi-family and light commercial projects.
  • Architectural design software skills, specifically ArchiCAD (Revit experience may be considered, although ArchiCAD is the established platform).
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the project team to build computer models of custom single-family homes as well as multi-family housing projects.
  • Employ Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills to develop accurate, virtual models.
  • Create interactive model files utilizing the BIMx application.
  • Prepare automated schedules of quantity takeoffs for cost evaluation and construction drawings.
  • Respond to requests for information from our estimating and construction departments.
  • Revise drawings and documents as required to achieve the specified product.
  • Expand the library of our home portfolio.
  • Present information accurately, both graphically and numerically.
  • Create objects and modules in an organized manner for inclusion in the design library.
  • Commitment towards self-directed quality control standards.
  • Apply standard operating procedures to all aspects of work.
