JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural design and technical drawing, with proficiency in various software applications. As an Architectural Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development of architectural projects, ensuring that designs are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, is essential.
• Strong understanding of CAD principles and construction methodologies.
• Experience in graphic design or system design is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate schematics.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• A relevant degree or qualification in architecture or a related field is preferred.

• Collaborate with architects and other professionals to create detailed architectural drawings and plans.
• Utilise software such as AutoCAD, to produce high-quality schematics and technical documentation.
• Develop 3D models using SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and Grasshopper 3D to visualise design concepts.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications for various projects.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design processes.
