Position: Architectural Technician
Base Location: Livingston
Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time / 40 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 per year

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Our company is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity for Architectural Technician to join our team based in Livingston.
As an Architectural Technician, you will be a key part of our in-house design team, working closely with the Senior Architectural Technician working on Various Building applications and submissions on different types of Buildings throughout Scotland and England for Renewable upgrades
You will share our commitment to quality, service, and environmental improvement, and have a general understanding of floor plans and technical surveys with experience in External Wall Insulation. An interest in scientific and technological aspects of building, and environmental issues would also be an advantage, but not essential.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Helping prepare drawings, plans of building warrant applications for External Wall Insulation applications.
• Monitoring progress and additional properties making amendments and further applications whilst ensuring compliance of quality standards in CAD and Revit format drawings.
• Document and update all drawings, Statutory Building warrants, informing different bodies and coordinating investigatory works and pull out testing.
• Ensuring contract team have revised drawings, specifications and revised drawings.
• Support compliance procedures of drafting and engineering standards.
• Respond to Local authorities on Planning and building warrant applications.
