Architectural Technologist/BIM Technician
Job Requirements
urbanARQ Ltd. is a RIAI registered Architectural and Urban Design practice. We are co-located in Dublin and Galway Cities.
We have an expanding portfolio which encompasses individual development projects as well as urban scale Master planning projects. Consequently, we are keen to develop our team with an additional colleague to join us in our Galway office. Subsequently we are pleased to invite applications to join us for the position of:

Architectural BIM Technician/Technologist with Revit Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree/Diploma (Level 7+) in Architectural Technology or Architecture
  • Minimum 5+ years in both Architectural Technology & Revit
  • Strong technical background in all stages of design
  • Critical thinker with problem solving skills and communication

Technical Skills:

  • Professionally competent in AutoCAD & Revit, with a passion and proficiency for BIM
  • Strong construction detailing knowledge including Codes, Standards & Building Regs.
  • Attained a proficient practice knowledge of BIM Standards & Protocols to ISO 19650
  • Experienced, personable and competent in Design Team communication protocols with Consultants

Specialist Suppliers/ Contractors etc

  • Attendance at site meetings may be required, dependent on the project cycle.

The successful candidate will work alongside team colleague’s reporting to Digital Lead/BIM Lead and Project Director.
The position will be full time, based in our Galway City office. As a co-located practice, you will also enjoy the benefit of colligate working alongside our Dublin team.
