Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

DUTIES

The duties of an Architectural Technologist include:

  • Completing review, coordination and issuance of subtrade shop drawings to MBSL Consultants for review/comment
  • The ability to clearly communicate (both orally and written) with Consultants engaged by MBSL
  • The ability to clearly communicate (both orally and written) with project stakeholders including the GC, Architect and Engineer
  • The ability to prepare 3D models in MWF Pro Metal (Revit) for CFS and Tekla Structures for Structural Steel and Hollowcore design
  • Including related activities such as;
  • exporting data to the ERP system, for review and correction
  • reviewing 3D models / wall panel tickets in order to identify and highlight areas of conflict / concern requiring direction or clarification
  • assisting in the preparing of MBSL shop drawing packages for review internally and by Consultants engaged by MBSL
  • The ability to complete peer reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Any other duties so assigned by the Design Manager or designate.
