JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Revit modeller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit and possess a strong understanding of building assemblies and the Ontario Building Code. This role involves creating detailed drawings and schematics that will support our engineering and design teams in building innovative projects. The Revit modeller will collaborate closely with architects, engineers and senior project managers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
A background in project coordination, construction estimation/take-offs, and construction administration, or a willingness to learn and assist with these aspects of the senior project manager’s role, is something we are looking for. Our company specializes in prefabricated panels and CLT/Masstimber construction. Experience in panelized construction or prefabricated construction is an asset we are looking for.

EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency in CAD is required; experience with Revit, Sketchup, Blue Beam, Lumion is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a drafting role or related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members across various disciplines.

• Develop and prepare detailed CAD drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Create 2D and 3D models for various projects using tools such as Revit, Sketchup, Blue Beam, Lumion.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members or clients.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in drafting.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals by providing accurate drawings.
