Job Description
Studio Duffy is seeking a proactive and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-senior level professional with over 5 years of post-graduation experience to contribute to a variety of innovative design projects across the hospitality, retail, and high-end residential sectors, both in Ireland and internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with architects to develop detailed, technically sound solutions that enhance and support the design intent of each project.
  • Lead the technical delivery of projects, ensuring effective coordination and a high standard of technical detailing throughout.
  • Establish and uphold quality control procedures within the office, maintaining rigorous standards across all project stages.
  • Refine and detail design plans, ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and statutory requirements.
  • Provide strong leadership within the team, mentoring junior staff and ensuring smooth project progression from concept through to completion.
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for design, ensuring that technical solutions consistently align with and elevate the overall design vision.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Architectural Technologist role, ideally at a mid-senior level.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work and resolving technical challenges effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, always striving to find the best technical solutions to support the overall design vision.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and effectively lead a team.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and experience with Vectorworks and Revit is advantageous.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal, is essential.
