Job Description
Kane Williams Architects are hiring an Architectural Technologist to join an experienced, progressive and expanding Munster based practice. The successful applicants will join our design driven team and work primarily on education, large scale residential and commercial projects. They will work directly with Senior Management on significant and exciting projects. The position offers excellent opportunities for career development and enhancement.
Job Requirements

KWA is looking for an Architectural Technologist with 2+ years post graduate experience. The following requirements are preferred but not essential:

• Preparation of Valid Planning Permission Drawings
• Preparation of Fire Safety Certificates
• Preparation of Disabled Access Certificates
• Preparation of planning, tender and construction drawings plus related specifications
• Compiling BCAR documentation and logging all related site inspection records
• Issuing and coordinating the timely delivery of all necessary information to site
• Carrying out site visits and liaising with contractor and clients as required
• Knowledge of Government Contracts and Government Procurement.
• Experience of Department of Education Design Team procedures an advantage

Microstation is an advantage but not a necessity. Competence in other CAD packages, 3D software and Photoshop would also be viewed favorably
