Job Description
QBB Architects are a well-established, small, vibrant, design-led practice based in Dublin 8.
Due to our continued success, we are looking for a qualified Architectural Technologist / Technician with a minimum of 3-to-5 years’ experience to work with us on a variety of education, conservation & commercial projects.
The successful candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have excellent technical design, detail & communication skills. They should be ambitious, self-motivated & have a strong desire to lead projects.

Job Requirements
This is an opportunity to work with a small & sustainable practice, and to obtain a wide range of experience, from working directly with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, to seeing projects thru’ from inception to completion, and to be involved in growing the practice.

The ideal applicant should have:

• Educational qualification in Architectural Technology.
• Min 3-to-5 years post graduate experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD essential. Revit, Sketch Up & Photoshop an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of building regulations & industry standards.
• Experience of monitoring works on site and BCAR project administration.
• Strong technical design and detailing ability.
• Knowledge of the roles & responsibilities involved in the building the process.
• Experience preparing technical reports and specifications.
• The ability to work on a wide range of projects of varying sizes.
• A willingness to use your initiative is essential.
