Primary Responsibilities: Review and analyze existing IT systems and architecture Gather requirements from stakeholders, analyze and create source/target X12 mappings Design and recommend technology solutions Develop architectural diagrams, workflows and documentation Ensure systems are scalable, secure and efficient Collaborate with IT teams and business units Stay updated on industry trends and best practices You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 3+ years of experience with system architecture and design 1+ years of experience and knowledge of EDI X12 standards, preferably in healthcare transactions Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Knowledge of cloud services, networks and security Strong problem-solving skills Good communication skills *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
