Job Description AECOM Buildings and Places Spain is a dynamic, multidisciplinary practice driven by innovation and collaboration. We integrate sustainable solutions into everything we do and approach every project with a high-performance design strategy. Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking for a Senior Architect to support our strategic plan and further develop their experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects. These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors including Transportation, Healthcare, Hospitality, Aviation, Workplace, Logistics, and Defense. Working within a dynamic, highly motivated, and driven team, you will be part of our project delivery, mentor junior staff, and help develop our future architects. As a Senior Architect, you will contribute to the winning, management, and delivery of moderate to large-scale projects within an international context. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage building projects for our clients throughout all stages: feasibility, design, permitting, contractor procurement, and construction. Ensure compliance with German building codes and regulations for projects in Germany. Provide creative direction and technical leadership to the team, coaching and supporting team members. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, high-performance design solutions. Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Mentor junior architects and contribute to the development of best practices within the team. Please submit your CV along with your portfolio for consideration. Candidates without portfolio will not be considered. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture. Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience, including proven experience delivering diverse projects in both, local and international contexts. Professional experience working in Germany and strong knowledge of German construction standards and regulations. A portfolio demonstrating high-quality design and project delivery is required. Previous experience working within a BIM environment; proficiency in Revit is essential. Fluent in German, English, and Spanish (written and spoken). Strong knowledge of the full life cycle of a construction project. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
