You will be working on Archives Reading Room related work as an Archives Services Intern under National Archives of Singapore (NAS). [What you will be working on] Conduct and produce historical research using NAS' collections for its curatorial pages. Developing and implementing guides to assist in making NAS' records discoverable. Carry out daily operations work with the Archives Reading Room team. [What we are looking for] Open to students from all disciplines; students with a background in History are particularly encouraged to apply. Students with background in Arts, Humanities and Social Science background with keen interest in history and research are also welcomed. Good written communication skills and able to write in clear, standard English targeted to different audiences/needs. Interest in Singapore's history, and familiarity with historical research using both primary and secondary sources. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel & Word. Comfortable with customer service work and enjoys working with people of diverse backgrounds.
