The right candidate for this position will be able to work in a lively and fast-paced work culture with the ability to remain organized and manage multiple tasks and projects with a positive attitude. The Autism Center of Nebraska, Inc. is a nonprofit agency providing supports and enhancing the quality of life for persons with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families. We provide a variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities including residential and vocational services. The duties of the position will include but are not limited to managing employees, creating a positive work atmosphere, training Direct Support Professional that you hire, understanding the people that we serve. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Two or more years in a management position Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors and the general public while remaining professional, pleasant, and courteous at all times Experience working in the field of developmental disabilities or human services is preferred Must be able to pass the required background checks.
