Description Area Director of Revenue We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Area Director of Revenue to lead our revenue management efforts across multiple locations. The Area Director of Revenue is responsible for maximizing total revenue and profitability for a portfolio of hotels within the Hilton and Marriott brand families. This role develops and executes strategic revenue management initiatives, analyzes market trends, and leads pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies across multiple properties. The ideal candidate must have strong experience with both Hilton and Marriott revenue systems, brand standards, and distribution channels, along with a proven track record of driving RevPAR index growth. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize profitability across all properties within the assigned area. - Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer data to identify opportunities for revenue growth. - Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives. - Monitor and report on revenue performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. - Oversee pricing strategies, inventory control, and distribution channels to optimize revenue streams. - Lead, mentor, and support local revenue management teams to ensure best practices and consistent performance. - Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on revenue performance and strategic initiatives. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Proven experience in revenue management, ideally within the hospitality, travel, or related industries. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management systems and data analysis tools. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions. - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners. Requirements Required 5+ years of hotel revenue management experience Multi-property revenue management experience preferred Direct experience with both Hilton and Marriott branded hotels Strong knowledge of: STR reports Demand forecasting Pricing optimization Distribution strategy Systems Knowledge Experience with: Hilton OnQ / GRO / RMCC tools Marriott One Yield / MARSHA / related revenue systems Revenue management software (IDeaS, Duetto, or similar) Advanced Excel and revenue analytics tools
