We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Area Facilities Manager to join our Property Facility Management Team in Northbridge, on a permanent, full-time basis. ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Senior Area Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of to oversee a diverse portfolio of 80 residential and commercial sites across Western Australia. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who can manage multiple priorities, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage strategic property plans, including inspections, asset registers, maintenance schedules, and compliance programs. Oversee reactive works, minor capital projects, and vendor performance across the portfolio. Lead the development of scopes of work, contracts, and business cases for property improvements. Support long-term asset planning (5, 10, 15 years) focused on sustainability, efficiency, and lifecycle management. Represent the Property Department in stakeholder meetings, project planning, and regional engagement. Coordinate lease obligations, make-good works, and property inspections for acquisitions and disposals. Prepare and manage annual maintenance and improvement budgets. ABOUT YOU The ideal person will be a proactive, collaborative team member who adopts a hands-on approach. You will be comfortable with multi-tasking and problem solving and adopt a strong client focus. You are a people person with high engagement levels and excellent stakeholder relationship building capacity to support the portfolio. 5 years of facilities management experience in portfolios of 150+ properties preferable. Experience in diverse property types, being commercial, institutional (churches) and housing. A strong understanding of Building Codes, Australian Standards, Essential Services, Statutory and WHS legislation. Experience in overseeing / project managing of minor capital works project (typically under $150k) Contractor performance management. A proven track record in customer and key stakeholder management.
