Description The Mission The Area Field Manager's primary objective is to launch and establish Onsite Safety (OSI) as the most trusted provider of safety solutions in the Tennessee market. As the founding member of this new location, you will initially serve as the lead service technician, mastering our processes and building the customer base. As the market grows and stabilizes, your responsibilities will expand into hiring, leading, and overseeing a team of technicians. The Growth Path: From Expert to Leader Phase 1 (Launch): You will operate as the founding Area Field Manager for the market. This "hands-on" phase ensures you gain expert-level knowledge of our field operations, equipment, and customer needs. Phase 2 (Growth): Once demand reaches a sustainable threshold, you will lead the recruitment and onboarding of additional service technicians. Phase 3 (Scale): As the location stabilizes, your focus will shift toward market management, quality control, and team leadership, while maintaining high-level oversight of all field operations. Requirements Essential Job Functions Lead Technical Execution: Complete assigned routes and perform all field service duties with excellence to set the standard for future hires. Market Startup: Track, order, and maintain consumables, fleet, and equipment necessary to establish the new Tennessee warehouse and operations. Customer Advocacy: Build and maintain relationships with new customers based on quality service and safety; support Sales by identifying local growth opportunities. Operational Readiness: Ensure all processes (inspections, PPE, tool maintenance) align with OSI and OSHA standards from day one. Future Leadership: Coordinate scheduling and dispatching; as the team grows, conduct recruiting, training, and performance management for new service technicians. Reporting: Submit monthly reports to the Regional Operations Manager regarding key metrics, team performance, and expansion goals. Work Environment and Time Requirements This position requires travel by vehicle. The candidate must be able to: Work in all seasons and weather conditions and at various heights. Carry a minimum of 55 lbs. Operate power tools and equipment. Meet all OSHA and OSI’s safety requirements fundamental to completing job duties.
