OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Area Manager to oversee operations at our housing complex. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Boulevard operates efficiently and effectively, meeting both Board standards and tenant expectations. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage diverse situations with an empathetic approach.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in supervising teams, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in program management, the knowledge of SAGE (quick books)with a track record of successfully implementing initiatives.
  • Strong budgeting skills, with the ability to analyze financial data.
  • Excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in relevant software applications and reporting tools-SAGE.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving results through strategic planning.
  • Knowledge and experience of the Residential Tenancy Act and the New Household and High Need income limits for the Housing Services Act.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations of a 65 unit Boulevard Complex to ensure compliance with the Board of Directors policies and procedures.
  • Manage program implementation and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and reporting it the Superintendent and the Board of Directors for consideration.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff at all levels, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Bilingual position. Written and spoken in French and English.
