Description Job Title: Area Maintenance - Housekeeping Manager Type of Position: Year-Round, Full-Time Schedule: Five days/week in Winter, including weekends/holidays Four ten-hour days per week during Summer, including weekends/holidays Pay: $25.00 - $27.00/hour, based on skills and experience, plus annual bonus potential Job Posting Deadline: December 27, 2025 Loveland Ski Area is where Coloradans come to play. Come lead our team in keeping the Loveland buildings clean and ready to provide a lasting positive impression for our guests! Summary Responsible for overall cleanliness, tidiness, and up-keep of the Ski Area restrooms, common spaces, offices, etc., for both the Loveland Basin and Valley base area facilities. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees, with safety and fun as our top priorities. Essential Functions Hire, train and supervise team of housekeepers working varied shifts. Oversee and assist in maintaining restrooms, floors, walls, windows, furniture, and fixtures of common areas in a clean and sanitary condition. Stock sanitary supplies for such areas. Responsible for preparing and submitting supply orders and accepting deliveries of bulk supplies and stocking these supplies in appropriate locations. Gather waste and trash from around the ski area for transport to pick-up locations. Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain department safety programs, including job hazard assessments, training, regular safety meetings, documentation, etc. Assist in approving housekeeping employee’s digital timecards weekly. Summer responsibilities include supporting summer weddings/events, deep cleaning, light painting and other general maintenance responsibilities, as assigned. Requirements Requirements/Qualifications Supervisory experience, preferably supervising off hours shifts. Experience housekeeping in a commercial setting with public areas. Strong communication and time management skills with independent decision-making ability. Ability to handle fast paced, potentially high-pressure work environment. Ability to work at high altitude, and outdoors in extreme weather conditions when moving between buildings. Possession of (or ability to obtain) a valid Colorado Driver's License, with an acceptable driving record. Must have own reliable transportation to get to/from work Ability to communicate clearly in English - speak and understand verbal and written communications. Ability to speak and understand Spanish, a plus. Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds. Must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
