ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Area Manager for the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay, you will be the face of HIA in the region—driving membership growth, strengthening industry relationships, and ensuring operational excellence. This is a leadership role with a strong focus on business development, stakeholder engagement, and regional representation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive membership recruitment, retention, and satisfaction
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships and sponsorships
• Represent HIA in policy, regulatory, and media forums
• Lead regional events, awards, and promotional activities
• Manage regional staff, office operations, and reporting
• Support commercial product sales and new business initiatives
• Maintain strong relationships with local media, government, and industry stakeholders
