Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking an experienced management professional to join our Northen Region team as the Area Manager – Central Queensland Reporting to the Operations Manager - Country, this role is crucial in driving our sales strategy, operational excellence, and financial performance across the aggregate, concrete, and logistics operations in Central Queensland. You'll ideally be located within Central QLD, or be willing to relocate, with travel required across the breadth of the region. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Utilise your operational expertise to enhance quarry, concrete plant, and logistics performance with a continuous improvement mindset. Business Impact: Make critical decisions affecting sales, financial reporting, and cost management within budget. Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers to drive new business and achieve sales targets. Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis and gather intelligence to identify strategic business opportunities within your region. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share and expand our customer base. Team Development: Inspire, motivate, and coach your team to execute strategies effectively and achieve regional goals and objectives. What We’re Looking For: Experience & Qualifications: Degree qualified or with at least 5 years of management experience in quarrying and concrete operations.
