At Mainyard Studios, we believe in creating the best workspaces for creative entrepreneurs in London. We provide affordable, high-quality spaces where creativity flourishes, businesses grow, and collaboration thrives. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a dynamic, people-driven and commercially savvy Area Manager to oversee six of our creative co-working spaces.

KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Proven leadership experience, ideally in coworking, hospitality, property management, or a community-focused environment.
Strong business acumen – experience in sales, business development, and budget management.
Ability to manage multiple locations and oversee diverse teams with autonomy and confidence.
People-first mindset – exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with teams, members, and stakeholders.
Problem solver with a can-do attitude – ability to think on your feet and resolve issues efficiently.
Marketing & brand awareness – ability to drive occupancy through effective marketing and local outreach.
Experience in process improvement – skilled at implementing efficient workflows and best practices.
Entrepreneurial spirit – a proactive, results-driven individual who takes ownership of their role.
Tech-savvy – comfortable using workspace management software and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development – Lead, motivate, and develop a team of six Community Managers, ensuring they excel in their roles and drive member engagement.
Operational Excellence – Oversee the day-to-day management of six coworking spaces, ensuring seamless operations, high occupancy rates, and top-tier facilities management.
Business Growth & Sales Strategy – Drive sales, occupancy, and revenue growth across all sites through strategic marketing, partnerships, and business development.
Community Building & Engagement – Foster a vibrant, supportive, and engaged community of creative entrepreneurs, ensuring each space remains a hub of innovation and collaboration.
Performance Management – Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for occupancy, revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Financial Oversight – Manage budgets across all sites, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high service standards.
Problem Solving & Crisis Management – Handle escalated issues across the locations with confidence and a solutions-focused mindset.
Strategic Growth & Innovation – Identify new opportunities for expansion, improvements, and enhancements to our offerings.
