REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical wholesale or trade distribution
• Previous multi-site or senior branch management experience
• Strong sales, operations, and leadership skills
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between branches (including Isle of Wight)
• Confident communicator and commercial thinker

ROLE SUMMARY

We’re seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead and grow several of our branches. This is a hands-on, commercial role ideal for someone with a background in electrical wholesaling or a related trade sector.
You’ll work closely with Branch Managers, develop local strategies, and ensure your branches hit performance targets across sales, margin, trade accounts and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead 3–6 branches to achieve monthly sales and profit targets
• Coach and support Branch Managers and their teams
• Drive new business and support local account development
• Monitor and improve branch operations, service levels, and stock performance
• Collaborate with senior management to implement commercial strategies
• Produce monthly performance reports and branch reviews
