What you’ll do Typical Accountabilities Identify business opportunities and build plans and strategies for their assigned territory. Responsible for performance management & execution of assigned portfolio within geography to ensure achievement of business goals & KPIs; Lead Team to meet or exceed established goals and KPIs; Work with individual Medical Representatives to establish appropriate and challenging goals for each territory; Assess individual and team progress toward goals, and coach to improve; Lead and develop the team including, but not limited to performance development, talent management, and career development; Comply with all regulations including interactions with healthcare professionals, and team compliance including 1st line monitoring, drive success, etc. Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience Essential Bachelor’s degree, Pharmacy/Medical 3+ years experience with consistent success in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales and/or similar experience Demonstrated ability to manage and lead the team Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, result driven Has the ability to take decisions/actions to adapt current situation in response to market changes Analyzes accounts/territories to determine the best approach for maximizing optimal allocation of resources in line with account objectives Desirable Previous exposure and/or experience in other functional areas of the business such as Sales Training, Operations, Brand Team, or Managed Markets Demonstrate examples of driving new ideas and innovation to solve business problems, improve business performance and benefit to patients Demonstrated leadership capabilities, financial management, written and oral communication skills Good English Key Relationships to reach solutions Internal (to AZ or team) Cross-functional Stakeholders External (to AZ) Key Institutions and KEE Why AstraZeneca?
