Environmental Service Area Manager is a liaison between the Environmental Services department and other units to ensure the department is serving the customers in a timely, efficient, and cost-productive manner, monitoring employee issues, supplies, equipment, and regulatory guidelines to be successful. This role involves ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The Environmental Services Area manager assists, coordinates, supervises, and coordinates with the team of employees to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, manage waste disposal, and adhere to regulatory guidelines. Additionally, the Area Manager collaborates with other departments to support infection control and implement sustainable practices. Qualifications Qualifications: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to environmental services, waste management, and infection control. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and people skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in using computer software and systems related to environmental services management. Fluent in Spanish and English languages preferred.
