Job Details Job Location: RANCHO CORDOVA, CA 95670 Salary Range: $1.00 - $2.00 Salary/year Reports To: Vice President of Practice Operations Position Status: Exempt The Role The primary duty of the Area Manager is to be a leader and mentor to the practice team so that we consistently deliver the most memorable and fun service experience possible for every patient, every day in every office. The Area Manager is responsible for the daily operations and overall profitability of the multiple offices they oversee. The Area Manager will work with his/her team to achieve operational goals while inspiring the team to uphold the culture, value and purpose of Kids Care Dental. The Essential Job Elements Assure that our families receive an awesome experience from the minute they walk in the door until they check out and leave the office as well as any future contact they have with us. Assure that team members provide dental services to pediatric patients in a fun, safe and non-traumatic environment where each child feels as if we care, because we do care. Specific duties include: Responsible for profit and loss by managing overall production and collection goals, patient scheduling, labor costs, purchasing and keeping costs within the office budget Ensure strict compliance with all company policies and pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, Dental Board, Workplace Policy, Labor Law, etc…) Act as a liaison between staff, doctors, and management team Directly supervise staff and proactively manage their performance and development including but not limited to performance feedback, performance reviews, corrective actions, recommendations for promotion, terminations, etc.) Train office teams on all company protocol and the standards for which Kids Care Dental believes Promote cross training of staff; Ensure excellent training and mentoring of new team members Input doctors’ schedules and advise SVP of requested changes Communicates with front and back office teams regularly to ensure they have all the information, tools, and support needed to perform their jobs effectively an successfully Perform random audits of both back office and front office duties Conduct and provide feedback on doctor and other candidate working interviews Respond to escalated patient complaints/concerns Review and report to SVP and Director of Marketing results from patient reviews Perform routine office cleanliness and maintenance reviews Insure effective pediatric and orthodontic integration of teams Insure effective engagement, planning and execution of LSM Insure effective partnerships between PSO and practice teams Be an effective and visible territory leader by leading, measuring and mentoring Establish a high performing PM and PCL team Create a clinical environment, operations and service delivery model that enhances colleague and patient experience Assist SVP in the launch of new facilities Other duties as assigned Qualifications Preferred Profile/Background Must have 2-3 years experience with large group practice Experience managing multiple teams holding them accountable by setting clear expectations Business degree preferred Affinity for helping and training others Can do attitude with strong problem solving skills and a focus on solutions Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans, customer service, clinical procedures and insurance billing Proven history of achieving results by setting goals and actively rallying other to achieve them Excellent communication, written, customer service and time management skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Dentrix experience preferred
