At Munro Footwear Group (MFG) we’re looking for a dynamic Area Manager to take the reins of 12 Midas Boutiques and David Jones Concession stores across NSW and bring our iconic brand to life through connection, coaching and consistency.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a seasoned Area or Cluster Manager who loves retail and knows how to turn strategy into action. You balance the people piece with the commercial, and you love bringing out the best in others.

We’re looking for:

  • Proven retail leadership experience at multi-site level
  • Strong coaching and team development skills
  • A customer-first mindset and an eye for operational excellence
  • Great communication, influence and problem-solving abilities
  • Resilience, agility and a bias for action
  • Willingness to travel regularly within your region
Responsibilities

As Area Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind your region’s performance. You’ll lead from the front, support and stretch your Store Managers, and create the conditions for exceptional customer experience and consistent commercial results.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading and inspiring a network of 12 stores across NSW
  • Embedding a coaching culture where people thrive and teams win together
  • Empowering Store Managers to deliver outstanding service and sales
  • Driving KPIs, cost control, wage management and profitability
  • Championing VM, compliance, operational standards and brand integrity
  • Conducting regular store visits to coach, uplift and energise
  • Supporting product flow, stock health and replenishment execution
  • Creating strong cross-functional connections with support teams
