Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Area Manager will report directly to the Northeast & Yorkshire Regional Manager, leading operational construction activities within Yorkshire. The role ensures efficient project delivery while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers delivering multi-utility projects.
  • Oversee stores and stock levels, ensuring smooth material delivery.
  • Manage pre-construction activities, working with design and estimating teams.
  • Liaise with developer contract managers and technical engineers.
  • Develop and implement construction plans for timely utility installations.
  • Drive productivity and commercial performance through strategic planning.
  • Ensure SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) compliance.
  • ·Conduct audits and oversee compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to deliver cost-effective solutions.
  • Support quarterly forecasting and business planning.
