JOB OPPORTUNITY: AREA MANAGER – MOBILE ROLE (CAR PARKING & SECURITY SERVICES)

Location: Swindon & Surrounding Areas
Travel Required: Across the South West including Cornwall, Wales, and nearby regions

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Area / Operations Manager to oversee a mobile portfolio of car parking and security contracts across the South West. Based in the weston super-mare, this field-based role involves managing Site Managers, Supervisors, and Field-Based Security Officers and Car park operatives, while ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and high levels of service delivery.
You’ll regularly travel to sites across Wales, Cornwall, and nearby regions. A company van, fuel card, smartphone, and laptop will be provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee day-to-day operations across manned and unmanned parking and security sites
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and maintain Risk Assessments
• Line-manage and support Site Managers, Supervisors, and mobile field staff
• Use and promote correct usage of GuardTek and Timegate software for reporting and workforce management
• Utilise smartphone-based enforcement and security apps (full training provided)
• Minute client meetings and provide daily reports to the Regional Operations Manager
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continuous staff training and support
• Monitor site standards through audits, mystery shopper visits, and KPI tracking
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain service satisfaction
• Provide operational support across neighbouring areas as required
