We’re looking for a highly personable and passionate Area Manager for a cluster stunning self-catering accommodation resorts in Cornwall. As the face of the business, you will have a great knowledge of the local area and with it being a premium offering, we are looking for an experienced manager with a great attention to detail (no room for error) and a strong passion for providing a high quality, welcoming and unforgettable guest experience.
As the company is looking to expand their offering of holiday lets, there will also be an element proactive sales and with that in mind, you will need to possess a strong knowledge of the Cornwall area, a hunger for sales and the ability to generate your own leads. You will be provided with a company car as it will be required for appointments with owners as prospective clients (company mobile and laptop also provided).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Solid hotel/accommodation management experience with a good knowledge of the local area.
  • Strong financial and commercial knowledge – Profit & Loss (GPs, revenue, quality control) and the impact it has on the business
  • The ability to generate new business in a target driven environment
  • Outstanding customer care / customer service experience
  • Able to network with key players within the property and holiday markets to build relationships, at all levels.
  • Resilient, positive, organised, numerate and detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Full UK driving license
