We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team at Universal Environmental Services. This pivotal role will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional environmental services by overseeing operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role will be a combination of sales, logistics, operations, and compliance, ensuring the process is efficient, profitable, and environmentally responsible.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience: Previous experience in waste management, logistics, lubricant sales, route management, or transportation is often preferred. Experience managing a team of CDL drivers also essential.
· Licensing: While not always required, a strong understanding of commercial driving requirements, including a Class B or A CDL and endorsements, is beneficial for supervising drivers.
· Compliance: In-depth knowledge of EPA, DOT, and other environmental regulations regarding used oil handling and transportation.
· Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required for dealing with customers, employees, and regulators.
· Analytical skills: Ability to analyze operational data and financial reports to optimize performance.
· Associate degree or 10+ years of comprehensive experience in operations and management.
· 5+ years’ experience in either bulk lubricants, hazardous waste or waste oil handling, processing, and disposal. Oil/Gas Refinery and Environmental Industries are encouraged to apply.

· Supervise and schedule a team of drivers and route dispatchers to ensure timely and efficient customer service.
