What You’ll Do as People & Culture BP
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

Collaborate effectively with the P&C Leadership Team and COEs to enable a consistent and quality delivery of the P&C agenda in country, with particular focus on:

  • Partner with Recruitment and Retail teams to deliver workforce plans, using data insights to solve hiring challenges and secure top talent.
  • Coach and develop Retail Leaders and P&C Business Partners, strengthening leadership, people management, and in-store P&C capability.
  • Drive colleague engagement and well-being by promoting Primark culture, interpreting survey results, and embedding global and regional initiatives.
  • Lead performance management processes (MYP), ensuring fair calibration, effective feedback, and strategies to support high performance.
  • Oversee talent, succession, and development planning, building strong pipelines for Store and Assistant Managers while fostering a learning culture.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, governance, and compliance, coaching leaders and P&C teams to handle complex cases and foster inclusivity.
  • Align P&C strategy with business goals, leading organisational change, leveraging insights, and delivering commercial impact through strong people practices.
Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 4+ years HR experience and at least 2 years at experienced HR Manager level
  • Preferably having worked as a Area Business Partner in the retail sector - ideally in a matrix organisation
  • Experience working in a fashion retail environment a distinct advantage
