Join our team as an Area RN Administrator, where you’ll oversee day-to-day operations across multiple hospice locations and ensure patients receive care with dignity, grace, and compassion. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations to lead multiple site locations, combining strategic planning, staff development, and regulatory compliance oversight. Key Responsibilities: Direct the day-to-day operations of assigned hospice programs and locations Provide professional, administrative, and operational oversight of all multiple site locations Lead the coordination of patient admissions, ensuring smooth processes and appropriate ancillary services Supervise hospice personnel, interdisciplinary teams, and volunteers to ensure high-quality care Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, ACHC, and federal/state regulations Review, evaluate, and support Multiple Location Supervision (MLS) reports and quarterly QAPI plans Monitor patient care quality, documentation accuracy, safety protocols, and emergency preparedness Lead orientation, training, and continuing education efforts for new and existing staff across sites Analyze financial performance including payroll, supply usage, budget adherence, and cost reduction Provide oversight of family satisfaction surveys, grievance resolution, and patient issue escalation Collaborate with community partners, referral sources, physicians, and families Lead performance evaluations, employee engagement, and corrective actions when needed Support contract/vendor management and ensure marketing material compliance Conduct quarterly and ad hoc supervisory visits, maintaining all required documentation Maintain high visibility and availability to staff, ensuring communication flows efficiently Proactively develop and implement strategic goals and process improvements About You Qualifications – What You’ll Bring: Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school Current RN license in the state of employment (or ability to obtain prior to start) CPR Certification Meets state-specific qualifications for the Hospice Administrator role Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in healthcare operations or sales/management Minimum one (1) year of management/supervisory experience Two or more years of experience in hospice or home health care (required if serving dual role as Clinical Nurse Supervisor) Valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance Ability to travel frequently with 75% overnight travel required Knowledge of hospice care operations, compliance, and interdisciplinary team coordination Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site locations in a healthcare setting Experience with regulatory standards, including CMS, ACHC, Medicare, and state guidelines Strong knowledge of budgeting, staffing models, performance management, and cost control Excellent skills in communication, leadership, training, and staff engagement Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn clinical software systems Strong judgment, organization, flexibility, and attention to detail Comfort working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities Preferred Experience (Not Required): Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, or related field Three (3) years of direct patient care experience in a clinical setting We Offer Benefits for All Associates (Full-Time, Part-Time & Per Diem): Competitive Pay 401(k) with Company Match Career Advancement Opportunities National & Local Recognition Programs Teammate Assistance Fund Additional Full-Time Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Mileage Reimbursement or Fleet Vehicle Program Generous Paid Time Off + 7 Paid Holidays Wellness Programs (Telemedicine, Diabetes Management, Joint & Spine Concierge Care) Education Support & Tuition Assistance (ASN to BSN, BSN to MSN) Free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) Company-paid Life & Long-Term Disability Insurance Voluntary Benefits (Pet, Critical Illness, Accident, LTC) Apply today and become a key leader in advancing quality hospice care across your region.
