Area Sales Engineer (Capital Equipment – Chemical Marked)

A growing business is looking for an Area Sales Engineer to join the team. Along with a salary of up to £75,000 per annum, you will also receive a range of benefits including a commission scheme (15%), a pension scheme, a company car/car allowance and remote working, so you can be based anywhere in the UK.
You will be joining a globally leading supplier of plants, equipment, automation solutions and services for hydropower stations, the pulp and paper industry, the metalworking and steel industries, as well as environmental and green energy-focused sectors. • Maintaining relationships with key clients, particularly EPCs and framework partners.
• External sales/business development in Chemical and Food and Beverage market.
• Liaising with clients.
• Raising awareness of the company within the Pharmaceutical & Food markets.
• Liaising with company personnel, in various global Product Homes, to ensure that the best technical and commercial offer is made and presented to the customer.
• Attending customer meetings to lead or assist with tender submission, negotiation and contract construction.
• Using the company CRM system, ensuring that it is maintained up to date with respect to sales activity.
