LOCATION: SCOTLAND, HAMILTON OFFICE – WEEKLY TRAVEL WILL COVER SCOTLAND EAST

We’re looking for an ambitious, driven, field based, Area Sales Manager to join our successful GB Sales team at Portakabin covering Scotland East.
As an Area Sales Manager you will maximise the area sales turnover of small modular buildings and small modular projects for both new and refurbished buildings, working with existing and new customers through a combination of reactive and pro-active approaches.
You will develop and promote the company’s sales business, to include our full range of products and services. The role is target driven and the key focus is on order winning activity.
You will work alongside Bid, Projects, and Service teams, and be a strong communicator, organised, work with accuracy, attention to detail, and have a strong teamwork ethic.
To be successful in this role you will be an exceptionally ambitious, field sales expert with a passion and drive to develop the opportunities and sales within Scotland East. You will thrive off being on the road, going to meet customers and will have had an extensive and exciting career journey within field sales.

Responsibilities

ROLE: AREA SALES MANAGER – 8 MONTHS FTC

Salary: £37,000 + Quarterly Commission + Company Car

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve set targets for sales within area.
  • Work within a set of agree KPI’s for example visit and order numbers.
  • Plan sales coverage of the area to ensure that all customers are contacted at the required frequency.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and sectors.
  • Assume account management responsibilities with nominated clients to ensure key relationships are developed and maintained.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to actively exploit the sector and client research information provided.
  • Ensure information is kept up to date on CRM system.
  • Responds quickly to the needs of an audience and to their reactions and feedback.
