EOC Group, a family-owned chemical product manufacturer headquartered in Belgium with seven production branches across Europe, is actively seeking a Sales Manager Adhesives for the UK market. Specializing in adhesives, compounds, latices, emulsions, and more, EOC prioritizes sustainable entrepreneurship and delivers high-quality products while ensuring exceptional customer service.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates:

  • A passion for technical products, even without a formal chemistry background, and a strong affinity for technical industries.
  • Experience working with key accounts and managing large-scale projects.

  • Resilience and motivation to overcome challenges and stay focused.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in business development or equivalent through a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating substantial business growth.
  • Experience in the adhesive industry or related chemistry/manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English, French and German is a requirement. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, hands-on mentality with a passion for exploring new markets.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Europe, up to 50% of the time.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work semi-remotely with frequent visits to the HQ and R&D lab.

Responsibilities:

As the Sales Manager for industrial adhesives (Hotmelt and Water-based), you will work closely with the EOC Belgium team and report directly to the European Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the Sales Director in achieving sales targets and market expansion
  • Research, identify, and evaluate potential business opportunities within existing and new markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth and revenue.
  • Promoting and selling adhesives (Hotmelt and Water-based) to end customers and distributors.
  • Identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities in the UK market, especially in sectors like paperboard, paper converting, and the tissue industry.
  • Collaborating closely with the local EOC production plant to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Monitoring market trends, providing strategic insights, and developing tailored sales strategies.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, major groups, and new clients.
  • Drive product development initiatives in collaboration with the R&D team.
  • Prioritize safety, environmental, and sustainability considerations in all business development efforts.
  • Managing key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet sales targets.
  • Traveling within the region (60% of the time).
