Apply now!   Learn more: jti.com    Please apply until November 19, 2025 Role: Permanent Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager     Area Sales Manager (Asia Travel Retail) In this role, you report to and work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, overseeing all aspects of territory management and field force deployment in assigned markets. You build strong relationships with Travel Retail Operators, key accounts, and distributors to ensure best-in-class trade partnerships and compliance. This role develops and executes account plans, including annual and strategic plans, and is accountable for delivering sales and market share KPIs. You play an active role in implementing sales and trade programs, monitoring execution KPIs and competitive activity. You also work closely with logistics to manage rolling volume forecasts and overall sales operations, including order, shipment, and payment processes. Additionally, this role provides training to Retail Sales Consultants, with support from the Marketing Team, to ensure best-in-class consumer activation.   As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:  Developing and aligning the overall ASP plans for the assigned territory, covering portfolio, marketing, pricing, and other investments. Accountable for managing the rolling volume forecast and system inputs to ensure target delivery while reflecting market trends to optimize inventory. Acts as the champion of market insights, tracking industry developments, competitor intelligence, passenger flow, category performance, and other key indicators Managing customer relationships and developing Joint Business Plans (JBP) to support category and business objectives. Collaborates with logistics to ensure a smooth order and shipment process, including clear documentation flow (contracts, invoices, etc.), adherence to sales integrity procedures (LMD, KYC, etc.), and full compliance within the assigned territory. Leads strategic alignment with respective domestic markets to drive optimal, synergized planning and execution that maximizes business impact Effectively implementing sales, distribution, and through-the-line marketing strategies, including merchandising, shelf-space optimization, and promotional programs. Monitors execution quality and progress, ensuring materials and activities meet standards and recommending corrective actions when needed. Oversees executional KPI tracking and reporting across sales volume, pricing, stock management, and brand listings to ensure performance targets are met Territory management and field force deployment decisions, as well as coaching, developing, and motivating outsourced personnel where applicable. Also accountable for gathering field intelligence and data through the provided sales force automation tool (TME). Driving new business development opportunities across new territories, channels, customers, and product segments as relevant   Requirements: 5 years’ experience in sales & distribution/channel management/field trade marketing. Experience in consumer/trade management and key account management FMCG/Travel Retail industry experience is preferable Cross cultural & cross functional experience is an advantage.
