POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive, driven, and self-reliant Area Sales Managers to spearhead growth in underserved regions. This is a hands-on sales position focused on growing revenue by operating the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to assisting during demos and patient trials, as well as nurturing long-term client relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in prosthetics, kinesiology, sports sciences or engineering. Other life science or business disciplines are also acceptable.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferable in prosthetics or orthotics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in the area’s local language(s), as well as English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong practical tech skills to ensure smooth sales operations in any environment (e.g. connecting to Wi-Fi, setting up a 4G hotspot when needed, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Google suite, email management, and good CRM practices
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage responsibilities independently.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 80%).
  • Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outreach, fairs, networking, and industry events.
  • Lead Qualification & Product Demonstration: Assess leads, organize demos, and support CPOs (Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists) during product fittings.
  • Customer Engagement & Trials: Build trust with CPOs and support patient trials by acquiring the necessary clinical and technical skills to assist in prosthetic fittings.
  • Negotiation & Pricing: Drive product adoption by negotiating pricing and terms to ensure successful sales closures with clinics.
  • Relationship Nurturing: Maintain and nurture relationships with adopters through regular visits, presentations, and both clinical and technical workshops.
  • Event Organization: Independently manage presence at regional trade fairs and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Order Management: Oversee the full sales process, including recording orders in the CRM/ERP system and ensuring seamless collaboration with production and logistics teams.
  • Insurance Support: Assist CPOs in managing patient reimbursement processes by facilitating the necessary documentation, ensuring timely completion of patient questionnaires, and delivering reports.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Facilitate joint marketing campaigns with clients and relay customer insights to the internal marketing team to drive further engagement and adoption.
