SALARY: COMPETITIVE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE - PLUS PACKAGE + CAR

Cleveland Cable Company is the largest supplier of cables and cable accessories in the UK. Founded in 1978, we operate nine branches across the UK and Ireland supplying domestic and European markets. In 2016, we launched Dubai-based Cleveland Cable Trading FZCO to supply markets in the Middle East and Africa, taking our business truly global. Additionally, we own and operate Superlec Direct - an electrical wholesale, supplier, and retail e-commerce website.
Based in the southwest region, covering the South Wales, Gloucester, Devon, Bristol, Cornwall, Somerset, Wilts and surrounding areas, you will be required to work externally for 4 days and 1 day will be office based in Bristol.
You will be responsible for promoting and selling the Company’s product range to our established customer base of M&E Contractors, OEM’s, Distributors, and represent the company at trade exhibitions. The successful candidate will also need to be proficient in identifying new business opportunities.
The position benefits from working closely with our experienced Management team and Internal Sales team. We continually strive to ensure existing service levels are maintained and new business opportunities are fully investigated.
Ideally, applicants will have a proven track record of sales within Electrical Wholesaling, Manufacturing or Distribution industry. Possess excellent communication skills, and have the drive and desire to convert new business opportunities and ability to build long term relationships.
You will have good time management and planning skills ensuring that your time is used to its maximum to generate sales, must be self motivated, professional and with an outgoing nature. Cable experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
